Join your family

Install the app, enter your name and the invitation code your family gave you, then choose Join a family. The server address is already filled in.

If you are the first person, choose a family name and tap Create a family. Use Invite to invite someone else. Each code works once.

You decide when to share

Viewing the map does not require sharing your own location. Sharing starts only after you turn it on and grant permission. A quiet Android notification lets you pause it.

The service keeps your latest location, not a location history. If you pause while offline, reopen the app when connected to clear the last point from the family view. Old locations are labelled in the app.
